"Buffalo Balls" Make w/ ground turkey.



Ingredients:
For the meatballs:
1lb ground chicken or turkey
2 oz cream cheese, softened
2 eggs
3 Tbl chopped celery
3 Tbl crumbled blue cheese
1/2 tsp pepper

For the sauce:
1/2 cup Frank's Red Hot
1/2 stick (4 oz) butter


Mix meat , cream cheese, eggs celery blue cheese and pepper in a bowl. Don't add salt. Blue cheese and Frank's red hot are salty enough.   Form into about one or one and a half  inch balls  Place them on a greased pan  and bake at 350 degrees (F) for 10 minutes. . Meanwhile, combine the Frank's and butterand place it on medium heat After 12 minutes, remove balls from oven and dip them in sauce.  Put back onto the cookie sheet and bake for another 12 minutes.  Serve with celery stick.

Is the cream cheese necessary? I feel like it adds an unnecessary amount of fat.

Mellissa. . . this recipe isn't that special. . . if you don't care about the picture being shared you definitely shouldn't care about the recipe.
