Mushroom and pepper stuffed clams


2 cups clams, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
1 green pepper, diced
Ritz Crackers
1/2 cup butter
3 cloves garlic, crushed
Salt, pepper to taste
1 cup cheese

Clean and chop the clamps in a second pot. Leave the clamp shells.
In a large skittlet heat half of butter and add onion, diced pepper and sliced mushrooms. Saute it for about 5 - 10 minutes and pour the mixture in clamps.

Add the mixture to crushed Ritz crackers and 1/4 cup of melted butter until the mixture holds together but is not too greasy. Stuff the shells with the mixture, add some shredded cheese on top  and bake for about 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
