Nutella Cupcakes with Walnuts

Ingredients:

3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 eggs
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup cocoa powder

Frosting:

1 cup Nutella
1/2 cup butter, softened
1-2 tablespoon milk
1 cup confectioner's Sugar
1 cup walnuts, crushed

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Beat butter in a large bowl until smooth. Add in sugar and beat again until fluffy. Next, add eggs and beat the mixture.

In another bowl mix together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, vanilla extract and salt. Add flour mixture and milk into a butter. Beat until all is combined and smooth.

In a small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cocoa powder. In a separate small bowl, combine milk and vanilla.

Place cupcake liners into a tins and fill the liners about half full with the mixture. Place in oven and bake for 25 minutes. They will be flat.

While cupcakes bake, start making frosting. Place the butter in a medium bowl and beat until smooth. Add in Nutella and beat well. Gradually add in sugar while stirring. Add in milk and stir again.

When cupcakes are done, remove from oven and let them cool down to a room temperature. Coat with Nutella frosting, sprinkle with nuts and decorate with hot chocolate.
