Walnut Choco Brownies

Ingredients:

Brownies:
2/3 cup unsalted butter
1 cup chocolate chips
2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon vanilla sugar
4 eggs
1 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped

Glaze:
1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup cooking chocolate

Charamel:
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup unsalted butter

Directions:
Heat the oven to 350 degrees. Coat a square baking pan with butter. Melt butter and chocolate chips on low heat. Use double boiler to prevent fill to be directly over the flame.  Remove from heat, let it rest and cool down and whisk in eggs and vanilla sugar.

In a second bowl mix cocoa powder, 1 cup sugar, flour and  baking powder. Mix it with the first mixture and stir in 3 /4 walnuts. Pour the mixture into a baking pan and place into oven. Bake for 40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean when stabbed in. Remov from oven and let it rest for few minutes.

In a small pan melt the butter and cooking chocolate. Stir until mixed, remove from heat, let it rest for couple of minutes and pour on top of the brownies evenly. Use a large knife or cooking paddle to spread the chocolate until smooth.

While the brownies are cooling down, melt sugar in a small pot slowly until golden brown, remove from heat add in butter and stir until combined and smooth. Decorate the brownies with charamel and sprinkle rest of walnuts on top. Cut them into squares and arrange on plate.
