Wallnut And Chocolate Chip Muffins




Ingredients: 

2 teaspoons baking powder
2 cups flour
1/3 cup white sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup milk
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
1 (12 ounce) package chocolate chips

Directions:

Grease muffin tin for 12 muffins and heat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Mix together flour, white sugar, brown sugar salt and baking powder in a large bowl. Mix together eggs, milk, vanilla extract and butter until smooth. Stir in second mixture into dry one. Insert chocolate chips and nuts and stir again. Fill the muffin tin cups to about 2/3 full with prepared mixture.

Place it in oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until  stabbed toothpick comes out clean. Remove from oven and let it rest for 5 minutes. Now remove muffins fomr cups and serve while still warm..
