Basil Chicken Stir Fry



Ingredients: 

5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs
1 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup garlic, minced
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup minced fresh ginger
1 cup fresh basil





Directions:

In a large pot mix water, ginger, sugar, garlic and soy sauce, place it on low heat and stir until sugar melts. Increase heat to medium high, add in chicken and bring to boil. Stir every few minutes. Cook for 20 minutes and then add in basil, stir to combine.   Cook for another 10 minutes until sauce reduces and gets brown colour. Serve while warm with rice.
