Baked Apple And Cinnamon Spring Rolls




Ingredients:

12 spring roll wrappers
3 Granny Smith apples
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
juice of 1/2 lemon
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/8 cup of melted butter
egg wash




Directions:

Heat the oven to 375 degrees F. Peel and cut the apples into 1/2 inch cubes and put them into a bowl with the lemon juice and flour. Stir the mixture to coat all the apples. Add half of cinnamon and sugar and toss to blend.

Place 2 tablespoons of filling in each wrapper, wrap the rolls. Fold up the bottom corner of the wrapper then fold up side corners and roll the filling part to top of the wrapper. Seel the wrapper eith egg wash.

Place a non stick baking paper on baking sheet. Arrange spring rolls on paper and pour small amount of melted butter on each roll. Insert into oven and bake for 20 minutes or until rolls get golden colour. Remove the rolls to a serving plate and sprinkle rest of cinnamon over the spring rolls.

Are these egg roll wrappers or the clear spring roll wrappers you soak in water!

Neither. It's a spring roll wrapper. The clear one war called rice paper wrapper I believe.
