Pork and Chive Wontons




Ingredients

1/2 cup fresh green pepper, chopped
2 cups ground pork
2 tsp white pepper
1/3 cup fresh chives, chopped
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp salt
3 tsp corn starch
1 package of wonton wrappers, thawed if frozen
1/4 cup water
1 can chicken broth

Directions:

Combine together pork, chives, green peppers, salt, white pepper, and say sauce together. Combine  corn starch and water. To assemble wontons, scoop 1 teaspoon of mixture onto the center of a wonton. Coat the edges with water mixture. Fold the wrapper diagonally. Dip the corners with water to seal them. When each layer is filled lay another piece of wet plastic wrap over it and start a new layer.

Pour the chicken broth in a pot and bring to a boil. Place wontons into the broth and cook for 5-6 minutes or until the they float to surface. remove them and sprinkle them with chive and red pepper.
