Ingredients2 pound flank steak ,trimmed
1 12-ounce jar pickled jalapenos, drained and sliced
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 fresh cabbage, shreded
Lime wedges, for serving
2-4 tablespoons Salsa (homemade or from store)
Corn tortillas (homemade or from store)
In a large bowl place one layer of sliced jalapenos, steak on top and cover the top and all sides with rest of jalapeno. Season the steak with salt and pepper and leave it to marinate for 1 hour.
Remove the steak and clean from jalapenos. Grill it for 5 - 6 minutes on each side. Let it rest for couple of minutes and then slice it to 1/2 thick.
Heat each tortilla, 15 - 20 seconds on grill, place two on a large plate, lay meat, onion, fresh cabbage and salsa in this order. Decorate with lime. Serve while
