Chicken broccoli and cheddar braid

Ingredients
  • 2 cups chicken breasts in chunks, cooked
  • 3 cups cheddar cheese
  • 2 cans Pillsbury Original Crescent Rolls
  • 3 cups broccoli, frozen, steamed and chopped
  • ½ cup butter
  • 2 egg yolks
  • basil

Instructions:
First, preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a bowl, combine cheese, broccoli, chicken and butter . Spread both cans of crescents length wise to form a rectangle.Form a single layer of dough.
Take  the mixture you have previously created and spread it  over the center of the croissant dough. Cut horizontal strips 1/2 inch apart down each side of the crescent dough.
Place  the dough strips over the top of the chicken mixture. First put the left stripe and then the right.
Brush the top of the braid with a beaten egg yolks and sprinkle basil on top.
Bake for 30-32 minutes until golden brown.
