Chicken and broccoli soup with noodles



Ingredients

2  medium size  cooked chicken breast, cubed to 1 inch size
3 1/2 cups small broccoli florets
Olive oil 
2 tablespoons butter
2 cups chopped onion
2 garlic clove, minced
1 ounce all-purpose flour
1 chicken broth
3 ounces uncooked vermicelli, chopped into 2-inch pieces
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon salt


Directions

Heat the olive oil in a pan, add onion and garlic and saute for 2 - 3 minutes. Then lower the heat, add butter and flour and cook for 2 minutes while stirring. Add broth and give it a good stir to combine all ingredients. Boil the soup and cook it for 8 minutes (until slightly tick) Then add chicken and cook for 3 minutes, add noodles and cook for 7 minutes(a few minutes before noodles are cooked), add broccoli and cook for another few minutes. Season the soups with parsely, salt and pepper.
