Shrimp and asparagus stir fry



Ingredients

1 lb shrimp,drained and peeled
1 lb asparagus, cut into 2-inch pieces
1/3 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
1 1/2 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch
3 tablespoons olive oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
1  large onion, sliced
1 green onion, chopped
1 tablespoon sugar
salt to taste


Directions:

Frirst, season the shrimp with salt and pepper and let it rest aside. Combine the oyster sauce, corn starch and sugar, and set aside as well. In a large skillet heat the olive oil, add onion and garlic and then add shrimp. stir-fry until shrimp are pink (few minutes before they are done), then add asparagus. Saute for another minute or two, pour cornstarch mix, stir for another minute and remove from heat. Add some green onion and stir again. Serve with rice or noodles.
